Bebito is designed to be private by default. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you enter into the app.
By default, nothing leaves this phone. All entries — activities, milk feeds, weights and the optional baby profile — are saved in this device's local storage. We do not operate servers that receive your data, and we do not require you to create a Bebito account.
If you turn on Partner Sync, the chosen baby's profile and timeline (feeds, sleep, diapers, weight — not photos, reminders or app settings) are stored in your iCloud and shared with the iCloud users you invite through Apple's sharing sheet. Apple provides identity, sharing and sync. You can stop sharing or leave a shared baby at any time. The app remains fully usable offline without Partner Sync.
The app is free to download and use. It contains no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. Partner Sync uses Apple CloudKit / iCloud; Apple's privacy policy applies to that service. No cookies are used.
Manual backups (JSON or CSV) are generated on your device — where you save or share them is under your control. If you enable iCloud Backup, Bebito also writes timestamped JSON snapshots to your iCloud Drive (Files → Bebito → Backups) using your Apple ID storage. You can turn this off anytime. Backups are not sent to us.
The app is intended for caregivers tracking infant routines. By default nothing leaves your device. If you enable Partner Sync, only the baby you choose is shared with the iCloud participants you invite — not with us. If you enable iCloud Backup, backup files are stored in your iCloud Drive.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the bottom of this page and, when the change is material, note it in the app's release notes.
